Special Collaborations

In 2020, Giorgio Armani presented a one-off Fiat 500 concept car. The electric, eco-friendly vehicle was designed in collaboration with Fiat as part of a charity project in support of Earth Alliance.

The non-profit organization was founded by Leonardo Di Caprio to fight climate change and preserve the planet’s biodiversity. The car, of which only one example was produced, was auctioned off alongside two other Fiat 500 concept designs.
Its construction was based on the principles of sustainability – natural, reused and recycled – and bears the designer’s signature for an unmistakable touch. The automobile is fitted with innovative anti-pollution and anti-bacterial technology.

Also in 2020, A|X Armani Exchange collaborated with National Geographic to create a series of nature-inspired T-shirts and sweatshirts. The project employed the power of photography to raise awareness about the need to save at-risk species before it is too late.

In anticipation of the partnership, a t-shirt made from recycled, organic cotton was released featuring the iconic cover with which National Geographic, in 2013, sounded the alarm on climate change.

The Collection was designed to celebrate the beauty of biodiversity and promote the preservation of the various species living on our planet.

In 2017, A|X Armani Exchange launched the #st_ART Project, aimed at those interested in art as viewed by a new generation of artists. Selected from the international landscape of contemporary street art, illustrators, creative and digital artists expressed their personal vision of today's metropolitan culture on A|X clothing.

During the 2006 World Economic Forum in Davos, Giorgio Armani announced its participation in (PRODUCT) RED, the revolutionary global initiative launched by Bono and Bobby Shriver to raise funds for the Global Fund to fight AIDS in Africa. The designer created the first two RED products, a pair of glasses and a watch, to be sold by Emporio Armani in support of RED.

The Emporio Armani women’s Spring/Summer 2007 Collection was exceptionally launched at London Fashion Week during an exclusive fashion and music event that also celebrated the launch of the first Emporio Armani (PRODUCT) RED capsule collection. Alicia Keys, Andrea Bocelli, Beyoncé, Bono, 50 Cent and Leonardo DiCaprio were in the audience at the event.
